Trifecta is a low dose product, so often the overall cost of the drum is a barrier when in fact it does double the sheep. Triguard will most likely continue to be the mainstay of the triple active drench sold for sheep for many years yet at Millers Ag, with Trifecta sitting on the cattle shelf.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp class=\"csBE29F54\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"csB2B83AB\"\u003eIt is the only triple active oral drench registered for use in cattle, hence needs to be considered in any cattle producers program, particularly for susceptible youngstock under 18 months\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp class=\"csBE29F54\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"csB2B83AB\"\u003eOral drenching of cattle of course comes with its challenges, and not every producer is prepared to do it, however for young cattle who are most at risk from carrying a larger worm burden, and more susceptible to production loss from a worm burden due to low immunity – it should be part of a program along with Dectomax V.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp class=\"cs5E6FFB4\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"csB2B83AB\"\u003eBe careful with selenium – it can be toxic when another source of selenium is already being fed, therefore levels of selenium in the animal will already be high. Avoid giving two products containing selenium on the same day.
